This is the Sprint/Version 2 of my 2025 Interactive Game Design project.

Overview:

Goblin's Path is a simple top-down stealth game that follows a delivery goblin who needs to deliver a package to the mysterious customer.  To get there, you have to avoid enemies and progress to the next level.

In Sprint 2, I primarily focused on completing all the aesthetic aspects of the game, including characters, animations, level design, UI, and more.

All feedback given would be highly appreciated.

The controls are the following:

  • WASD or the Arrow Keys for movement
  • Left SHIFT  or Right SHIFT to sneak (reduces enemy FOV)
  • SPACE key to throw an object to distract enemies (causes enemies to go towards it)
  • Left or Right CTRL to sprint (THIS IS TEMPORARY AND WILL BE REMOVED IN THE FINAL RELEASE)
Notes:
  • Using WASD keys in the browser may cause issues (eg. ctrl w closing tab). It is recommended to download and run this elsewhere.
  • The game may be a little laggy if you have too many tabs or windows open.

Tips:

  • Make use of the sneaking mechanic to hide in difficult situations
  • When throwing, make sure the player is looking towards the direction you want to throw the object in (left or right)
  • Make sure you are far away from enemies before throwing objects as their FOV will increase

good game but not sure where i go
